Phyllis is pleased to announce 4 "brand new" poodle prints.
Phyllis Lawicki possesses a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of balance
and an unbridled artistic spirit. Working in her home based art studio,
Phyllis creates beautiful watercolor paintings of show dogs. She places each
dog in a cozy, "at home" surrounding far from the show ring and close to the
heart.
Following graduation, armed only with her high school portfolio, Phyllis
began her career as an artist/designer for the prestigious
"American Greetings" company in Cleveland, Ohio. There she honed her skills
in design and composition for 7 years. Her unique, individualized painting
style was beginning to emerge.
Next Phyllis embarked on a whole new career becoming chief designer
and artistic co-ordinator for "Accent-With-Us", a home interior decorating
company. There Phyllis and her staff re-defined the rules of interior
design and artistic accesorizing.
Following her 5 years with "Accent-With-Us" she began to sharpen her
skills as an artist by doing a number of original floral paintings
which were shown and sold in several Cleveland, Ohio art galleries.
At the suggestion of her daughter, a professional breeder of champion
Poodles, Phyllis began to paint show dogs 3 years ago and has not
looked back since.
Presently Phyllis M. Lawicki displays and sells her fine Limited Edition art prints at
A.K.C. sanctioned dog shows through out the Northeastern United States.
She has shown her paintings at pure breed dog shows in Indiana, Ohio,
Michigan and New York.
Her watercolor dog prints have been acquired by collectors as far away
as Hong Kong, England and Canada as well as The United States.
